West Dorset has many hidden valleys. Underhill Farm nestles within one of them, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you have not been to Dorset before you will find it full of charming villages, historical houses, beautiful gardens, the spectacular world heritage coast and much more. Most of our visitors fall in love with the area and can’t wait to return.

Approached by an external stone staircase to sunny balcony with seating, Meadow Rice is the perfect retreat for couples at any time of the year.

Meadow rise has lovely farm views and a picturesque garden with ponds, which you are welcome to walk around. There are plenty of pubs/restaurants within 1-5 miles, including the award winning Fox Inn in the village. The coast is about 30 minutes by car.

Sitting/dining room with kitchen

Interior description:

Converted roof space with character beams

Sitting/dining room – with LCD TV, DVD and stereo

Kitchen - leading off sitting room, compact but fully fitted with gas cooker, microwave etc

Bedroom – with double bed, built in wardrobe and TV

Shower room - with basin and toilet

Exterior description:

Space for 1-2 cars. Our large garden is available for our visitors to relax in or walk around the farm to see the wildlife.

Gas central heating. Changeover day is Saturday. Electricity, gas, towels and linen are included. Sorry no children under 12. Smoking is not permitted. We regret dogs are not permitted.

Departure time:      10.00am

Cottages are cleaned between each let and inspected regularly. Please help us maintain high standards by leaving the property clean and tidy.

Booking information:

This property is available to rent by the week with change-over on Saturday. Change-over day varies for short breaks.

First payment is 20% of total rent. Final payment is due 4 weeks before arrival. Full payment is required if booking is made within 4 weeks of arrival.

Short breaks are available all year subject to conditions, please contact owner for prices.
