The Swallows is a recently converted 2 bedroom stone cottage with an enclosed garden and lovely views across Hardy’s countryside.  It is tastefully decorated and comfortably fitted throughout and includes ceiling beams and a log fire.  There is ample parking for 2 cars and a games room with laundry facilities nearby.

Within a short walk is the Elm Tree Pub which serves fine ales and excellent food.  Weymouth and Abbotsbury are nearby and the Coastal footpath runs past The Swallows leading to some spectacular walks.

 Interior description:

Downstairs:  

Entrance Hall.

Kitchen - fully fitted, cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and table to sit 4.

Sitting Room with wooden beams, open fireplace, TV/video, french windows opening out onto patio with garden chairs and table.

 

Upstairs:

Bedroom 1 - double (can be made into twins) bed, built in cupboard and airing cupboard.

Bedroom 2 - twin beds and cupboard 

Bathroom

 

Exterior description:  

The Swallows has a fenced in garden and patio area with chairs, table and small barbeque.  Table tennis and other games are available in the games room.

Central heating. Changeover day is Friday. Electricity, towels and linen are included. Smoking is not permitted. Dogs are permitted at a charge of £3 per night or £20 per week.

Your arrival time:   FROM 2:00 pm

 Departure time:     BEFORE 10:00 am

Cottages are cleaned between each let and inspected regularly. Please help us maintain high standards by leaving the property clean and tidy.

 
Booking information:

This cottage is available to rent by the week with change-over on Friday. Deposit of £100 required to confirm booking, balance of payment on weekend of arrival. Short breaks are available from October-Easter, please contact owner for prices.

Cancellation:  


Should the holiday be cancelled guests will be responsible for the balance unless the cottage is re-let.
