Elizabeth Cottage ~ West Lulworth                                                         email the owner

Elizabeth Cottage dates from the late 16th Century. It was a Tudor toll-house and at one time it may have been the property of the family of Anne Boleyn.  It is Grade II listed and was completely modernised in 2006.  The ideal romantic getaway, it is within easy walking distance of Lulworth Cove and the Coastal Path.  The famous Castle Inn and Pub is across the street and a small grocery store is nearby.  West Lulworth is fourteen miles from the ancient Roman town of Dorchester, birthplace of Thomas Hardy.

The cottage stands in its own grounds and it is ideally situated for walkers.

This is a very quaint two-bedroomed oak beamed thatched cottage, still with good enough height, although in places one must mind one’s head – accommodates two people very comfortably and four people cosily.
