Chestnut cottage is a beautiful old stone barn which has recently been converted and equipped to a high standard.  It is full of character including original oak beams, large feature fireplace with wood burner and provides spacious and extremely comfortable accommodation.  The kitchen is large and well equipped and includes an eight foot farmhouse table.  The cottage has an attractive fenced in garden along with patio and wooden garden furniture.  It is also suitable for wheel chair access.

Situated in the small hamlet of Rodden, local attractions include Weymouth ,  Abbotsbury, the Swannery and the Jurassic   Coast world Heritage site.

Downstairs:  

Sitting room – large, comfortably furnished room with original oak beams and log wood burner.  Contains TV/video/DVD.

Kitchen – fully fitted including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

Bedroom – twin beds, TV, en-suite shower wet room, WC, suitable for wheelchair access.

 

Upstairs:

Bedroom 1 - double/twin, en-suite bath/shower, hairdryer, radio.

Bedroom 2 - With one single bed.

Bedroom 3 - twin beds, radio, hairdryer.

Bedroom 4 – double bed, radio, hairdryer.

Bathroom - bath/shower, WC, hairdryer.

 

Exterior description:  

Fenced garden with gravel drive for parking 2 cars. Patio area with garden furniture.

Central heating. Changeover day is Friday. Electricity, towels and linen are included. Smoking is not permitted. Dogs are permitted at a charge of £3 per night or £20 per week.

 Departure time:        BEFORE 10:00 am

Cottages are cleaned between each let and inspected regularly. Please help us maintain high standards by leaving the property clean and tidy.

 
Booking information:

This property is available to rent by the week with change-over on Friday.

£150 deposit required to confirm booking, balance payable on first weekend of arrival.

Short breaks are available from October-Easter, please contact owner for prices.

Cancellation:  


If cancelled, guests will be responsible for the payment of the balance unless the cottage is re-let.
