APRIL THATCH, Combe Keynes, nr Lulworth

Grade II listed traditional style thatched cottage set in quiet countryside.  Built over 250 years ago using traditional cob building materials and techniques, the walls in the old part of the cottage are made from clay, stone and straw. 

There are two comfortable double guest bedrooms, one is ensuite. Each bedroom has TV, facilities for making hot drinks, hairdryers and central heating. We can collect guests from the local train station or from the coastal path. 

Rates: £25 per person per night, £30 per person per night for ensuite, single occupancy £35 per person per night.

DUNSTER FARM, Broadoak, Bridport

Traditional 16th/17th Century Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast on working farm of cows, sheep and a few chickens, situated in the heart of the Marshwood Vale. Oak beams and a traditional log fire. Children are most welcome to help collect eggs and watch the milking of the cows.  

Ensuite bedrooms, with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests have access to their own bedrooms at all times of the day, as well as use of the lounge, with its colour TV.  Delicious Full English Breakfast is served with a choice of alternatives. We are very sorry but we are unable to take any pets at Dunster Farm.

Rates: £31 per person per night (2-3 nights £29 pppn & £26 thereafter. Special rates for children.

FIELD FARMHOUSE, Godmanstone, nr Dorchester

GARDEN COTTAGE, Briantspuddle

Set in a unique location on the edge of this quiet conservation village. With grounds of just under an acre the pretty thatched cottage hosts peaceful surroundings making it an ideal place for a relaxing break or as a base to explore the Jurassic coastline.

Within the cottage, which has its own private entrance and ample off-road parking, guests can enjoy ensuite shower facilities, private sitting room with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities as well as the use of the garden.

Rates: £35 per single person per night, £60 per couple per night.

GOLD COURT HOUSE, Wareham  

This Georgian house, with its lovely walled garden, lends itself to accommodate six guests in double or twin-bedded rooms with private bathrooms and a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, with all facilities on hand at your request.

Situated on a small square on the southside of the charming little town of Wareham, the house has views of the Dorset countryside and the beautiful Isle of Purbeck. 

Rates: From £45 for single per night, £70 for double/twin per night.

HONEYCOMBE COTTAGE, Bere Regis

550 year old thatched cottage with a beautiful mature garden and wonderful countryside views. On the edge of Bere Regis, a typical English village complete with 2 pubs, 2 shops, a post office and a glorious parish church.

Double or twin bedroom with ensuite facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Wireless internet is provided for those who need to work. You can explore the garden, orchard and field and wander down to the local river bordering the cottage. There is secure off-road parking and storage space for bikes and horse tack.

Rates: £60 per couple per night. £50 for a person travelling on their own.

STONELEIGH BARN, North Wootton, nr Sherborne

18th century stone barn awarded English Tourist Board's four star and silver. Three large first floor guest suites and one ground floor suite. All accommodation is newly refurbished to a high standard each with ensuite, television, hairdryer, footspa and hospitality tray. Ground floor suite has disabled access and facilities.

Set in its own secluded landscaped gardens, the barn has been extensively modernised to provide high quality accommodation at affordable prices. The heated outdoor swimming pool is open from 5pm - 7pm daily with cover for chillier days and awning for hot weather.  Swimming towels are provided at no extra charge.

Charming 18th century thatched farmhouse awarded English Tourist Board's four star and silver.  B&B accommodation comprises three bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin-bedded garden room) all of which are ensuite.  Off road parking.

Relax and unwind in this comfortable family home, built in the traditional local style of flint and brick, and set in pretty gardens nestling in a peaceful valley in the heart of Dorset.  

Winterborne Stickland itself has a good pub, a post office and a church
